Why does Adele's 'Someone Like You' make everyone cry? Science has found the formula
I heard that you're settled down That you found a girl and you're married now. I heard that your dreams came true. Guess she gave you things I didn't give to you. Old friend, why are you so shy? Ain't like you to hold back or hide from the light. I hate to turn up out of the blue uninvited But I couldn't stay away, I couldn't fight it. I had hoped you'd see my face and that you'd be reminded That for me it isn't over.
I guess I was just hoping there was way for it to work. If your heart longs for children, a family and love- why should you stop yourself holding out for some mystical Mormon man to swoop you off your feet. She sacrificed two years of her life to convert people to the religion. I think a lot of what you say here really rings true, especially the part about the Date Night. You have given me the courage to continue to protect my marriage and children. No nagging, no emotional neediness, etc.
