Tong has also worked as a record producer, and is regarded as the "global ambassador for electronic music. The phrase "It's all gone Pete Tong", where the name is used as rhyming slang for "a bit wrong", was reputedly first coined by Paul Oakenfold in late in an article about acid house called "Bermondsey Goes Balearic" for Terry Farley and Pete Heller 's Boys Own fanzine. Today June 2 Tong announced the full artist lineup for his inaugural All Gone to Sea cruise party, set to embark and return in Miami between November 6th and 10th. All Gone to Sea will traverse the Caribbean en route to Grand Turk Island while offering guests a wide range of programs, including daily DJ technology master classes, pop-up panels, island parties, and nightly music events. With 2, expected attendees, All Gone to Sea promises a more intimate experience aimed at a more mature demographic than many of its other festival and cruise counterparts. Tong also expects that onboard artists will find the concept just as refreshing as attendees, who will have the rare opportunity to see marquee names play in more intimate settings.
